Diversity + Inclusion
The following projects show some of the work I have done to promote a work environment that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging. There is also a glimpse into some of the social activism work I’ve done in my community, while leveraging my virtual facilitation and moderation experience.
Gender Identity + Pronouns
This project was completed on an urgent timeline in order to educate a small team as they welcomed a new teammate who uses they/them pronouns. Due to the positive reception of this e-learning, it was immediately made available to the entire company.

This powerful tool allows for scenario-based learning and animated characters and content.
Voice Recording
All of the voiceover in this course was scripted and recorded by me (and one line recorded by my helpful husband.)
Needs Assessment
The need for this course was identified when a new team member who uses they/them pronouns was about to join the team.
SME Collaboration
Partnering and networking with people who have lived experiences and expertise in this subject area was vital for this project.
Anti-Racism
This project was designed to support supervisors with an interactive guide in holding conversations that support anti-racism in the organization (Fraser). This guide was shared with people leaders throughout the company and promoted with partnership from the BIPOC Employee Resource Group.

Facilitate Conversations for Social Activism
I used my virtual facilitation and moderation experience to hold community conversations with local government leaders within a lens of racial equity. These conversations showcase my virtual facilitation abilities.
Skills / Tools
Facilitation
With over 10 years of virtual facilitation experience, I was the most equipped person in my community to host these conversations.
Virtual Meeting
These meetings were held via Zoom and subsequently recorded and shared with members of the community who couldn’t attend live.
Community Building
These conversations were important in informing community members about their elected officials and their platforms and goals.
Hosting + Moderating
Holding live and public conversations requires confidence, professionalism, and the ability to stay polished in the moment.
